Description
Ecto-ADP-Ribosyltransferase 5 (ART5) is a member of the ARG-specific ADP-ribosyltransferase family. Members of this family regulate the function of target proteins by attaching ADP-ribose to specific amino acid residues in their target proteins. ART5 is a secreted protein and contains four NAD binding sites. ART5 proposes to regulate the endocytosis of plasma membrane proteins by recruiting the ubiquitin ligase Rsp5p to its target in the plasma membrane
